Writer dear—you deserve to go further, faster.

You want more. You want—and are ready to work toward—your next writer milestone. When you achieve it, you’ll want even more: the next milestone, and then the one after that.

You deserve each and every one. You’re capable of them all. You just need to keep going.

I can help.

I love helping writers take their next step on their path to writer glory. (Delight in Writing: A Day of One’s Own retreat, November 2024. Manor Mill, Monkton, MD. Photo by Zoe Leonard.)

While readers of Writer Dear are supported and celebrated, members of Writer Dear are propelled. Members receive year-long accountability, community coaching, and skill development to help your writing go further, faster.

A $30 annual membership grants you access to this writing-specific safe space where you rally. Rejuvenate. Where you get (and/or stay!) ready to go wherever your writing takes you next.

I hope you step inside.

Welcome to Writer Dear membership

As a paid member of Writer Dear,

  • you’re invited to bi-weekly write-alongs: a time to write “with” fellow dreamchasers and a chance for gentle accountability. June’s are on Wednesday the 18th from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. ET, and Monday the 30th from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. ET;

  • you receive monthly community coaching. I host an AMA,1 answering your writer-related questions (which can be anonymous if you’d like). Each month, you get a new Google form to send me questions. On the last day of the month, I answer your questions in an audio post that’s sent to both members and readers of Writer Dear;

  • you have easy access to skill development: 20% off my courses, challenges, and tutorials. These range in topic from craft (the etiquette of writing creative nonfiction; my secrets to writing flash), to mindset (taking the pressure off yourself; receiving editorial feedback), to the business of being a writer (writing cover letters; searching for agents).

You’re ready to make bigger and better writer-promises to yourself. I help you keep them.

For over 11 years, I taught high school English.2 Every day, I nudged, cajoled and put pressure on my lovelies to keep going. To try when they didn’t want to, and to believe in themselves as much as they could. Year after year, they thanked me for not giving up on them.

I won’t give up on you, either.

Come on in. It’s time to get you closer to your writer dreams.

~Kerry
